Interim Payments

If your opponent has admitted that the accident was their fault but fails to agree with the amount of compensation you are claiming, you may be able to receive some money early. Your solicitor is able to apply for this on your behalf

This is known as an Interim Payment.

This is where your opponent pays some money to you now, and the court will then decide how much more you should receive at a later date
